Crayon Box

This is my homework:

I didn't do the purple or brown page. I just didn't want to. 

This was a puzzle I put together

1st day of 1st grade

I took pictures, then walked to the bus. I checked the soda machine, it was out of service. We found a snail. I got some stuff that got stuck inside it. It was happy. I kept it happy and then it was time to go to the bus. I sat with my brother and one of our friends.

We got off the bus and went to recess. I played with Dylan and Cheyenne. I, uh, went inside. I was glad that a few of my friends from my old class were in my new class: Jeffery, Cheyenne, Katie, and Dylan.

We listen to a book about a girl mouse that was names Chrysanthemum. When she went to school everyone picked at her. Then when she got home she said that school was no place for her. The next day the people at school said that she looked like a flower. They pretend to pick her, and to smell her. But the next day there was a new teacher named Mrs. Twinkles. She was named after a flower too but they liked her. So she made the kids jealous. That's the end of the book.

Then we made puppet school houses. We cut out it, then glued it, then we had a little puppet. Then I colored the puppet. Then we read another book called A pocket full of Kisses" It's where there's this raccoon called chester and his brother called Ronnie. Then he told that he should give Ronnie away. his mother said, I thought you like having a baby brother. Chester said "I did but now he follows me around, plays with my toys, swings on my swing, reads my books, and tears them apart. And ruins all my stuff." Then his mom helded his hand in hers, kissed him right in the middle of the palm, then she got Ronnie's hand and kissed it right in the palm. Then Chester said "That was my kissing hand." Then his mother said "You silly goose, that was Ronnie's kissing hand" Then she did it again to Ronnie. Then she said "Put this in your pocket and take good care of it". He did. The end of the book

I went out to recess. I played Star Wars with a guy named Kyler. Dylan was R2D2. Jeffery was R4D4. Kyler was Luke Skywalker. I was Han Solo. We got into the Millennium Falcon and destroyed the Death Star. We shot it and it blew up when it tried to destroy planet Earth. Then I bumped Darth Vader's ship. Rhett was Dark Vader.

Then we packed up and went home and did our journal.

1st day of 3rd grade

I got off the bus and went into school to the play yard. I went in line and I went in. Mrs. VanWangenen told us the rules, and other things, and we sang a song. Then we did a worksheet about us, then B track came in. When they came in, we did another page.

And then, we went to lunch. For lunch, I had carrots, yogurt and an apple. I forgot about the sandwich. It was in the bottom pocket of my lunch bag, so I forgot it.

After lunch, we went into silent reading time. Mrs V.W. read this book about a girl and her family was really weird. One day when their paper boy came there, he said your family is weird your dad wears an umbrella while he rides around and he sings opera. Your mom wears her sneakers everywhere she even wears them in her see through galoshes. Your sister she collects can labels and she rides her roller skates while singing opera on her way to school. That was the end of chapter one.
After that, we went to P.E. We played greedy gray octopus. And another game that I can't remember. We went back into the class and we made a flag with a balloon on it.

After that I went home. When I got off the bus, I went to check to see if the soda machine was working but it. wasn't so instead we got gum balls. Then I went home and when I went through the door my mom was really excited to see me.

I feel happy about my first day of school. Mrs. V.W> has a popcorn machine. She is really fun and I did well with her today. I'm excited to see my friends Luke, Caleb, Xavier, Kenneth and Jeanette. Kyler was in my class too.

The Yummy Breakfast

This morning, I got up. I had a yummy breakfast. I had some kind of eye sandwich. It had eggs and sausage in the middle. There was an egg was cooked inside the bread and it had sausage too. The sausage had red peppercorn flakes. It was a little bit too spicy.

Then I, uh, did my homework.  It was about opposites and pictures. So I had to draw a line to the picture, from the picture to the sentence or the sentence to the picture. And I sweeped the floor as my cleaning. Mommy cut my hair and my ear hair.

I fed DJ, cutsie patootsie DJ! I watched KAW play Brick Breaker, when he wasn't supposed to. Mommy got very mad when Kai lied to her. Then I did Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride for my dance practice. And my Haka, and Na Waka, and Ten Guitars. Then I did my journal. The End.

Field Day

I did tug of war. My class won. We got a trophy.  We played some games: soap booth, you have to get the button and soak the teacher. I sunk the teacher every time I got to do it. I got a hundred bags of popcorn, not buttered.

I got an otter pop and bouncy ball. I lost it in the road at the other side of the playground. It went into the bushes. tshh! Then i went in the bushes and couldn't find it. It was made out of air so it popped because of the thorns so I threw it away.

Then last but not least I got third place, I mean our class got third place.

Then I went on the bus and went inside to eat lunch. I brought home a seven peaks pass because I read. I also brought home a yellow slip, which means I get to watch TV for a half an hour.

Strange Weapons

I made an -an page. 

Then I played hopscotch at the big playground. 

I played with my clock. It teached me how to do time. 

I made a dinosaur book

I went to recess.

I writed a story about skunks.

Skunks are black and white. They have claws. 

In the morning they find a safe place to sleep. 

Skunks are cute.

Mom Note: I found this in CJ's backpack. He told me it was his phone. I asked him where he got it from: the black path, by Sister Daines house, the bus stop. 

 

Dinosaur Museum

CJ has been excited all week for his school field trip to the dinosaur museum. 

He discovered new dinosaur bones and has hidden them in his secret lair at school.

He asked me where paleontologists live. 

When he returned home from the museum, he reported that there are new dinosaur bones. 

I'm glad that our frequent trips has not diminished his enjoyment of dinos. 

The Flying Helicopter Rings

My dad woke me up, at 6:16. When I came down stairs, I had breakfast. My breakfast was Life, and I had  side of toast. I went up for devotional. We talked about the Great Apostasy.

Then I went to school. And bought a pencil. It was one of those pencils where you roll the lead then there's the pencil.

I went into the classroom. And I did an April Fool's joke. Some people do April fools all month. Is that cool?

We read an April Fool's book, then we went down to take our pictures. Then B track came in. And during our test, they had to go take their pictures. Then when I went to recess, the photographer took a picture of the whole entire school, kids, teachers. Here are some words that he uses to get our attention. "Be gawk! Ma Mee!"

I went in. We finished our test. And then we went to lunch. Basically, I went cuckoo crazy and just ran. After lunch, we did the Easter Egg Hunt. I didn't get any Easter Eggs because they thought that I was opening the eggs and looking inside them. But I wasn't. I accidentally broke them open. So I just stayed out for a while.

Eventually, I went in. There was a basket of candy on my desk. They were playing fun games and getting candy. They had fun. I did too.

Then we went to music. We watched some movies in the Kiva. Then I went home. On the way home, I asked my friend Kevin if I could play at his house. First, his mom called my mom to see if it was ok. I played with his toy. It has a little ring, and it makes the ring fly like a helicopter and we have to catch it.

Then I went home. The End!

A warm sunny day with fluffy clouds

In our morning devotional, we learned about the Primitive church. I cleaned the baseboards in the hall and Liam's room. I watched Liam while mommy took a shower. 

Before I went to the bus stop I went to Sis. Daines building and took a piece of concrete. It's a magic stone. I carried it around with me. 

I learned about meat eaters, like T-rex , great white shark, people, uh. . . And the meat eater who eats the most meat is the T-Rex. He almost eats everything because he is a meat eater, and he has razor sharp teeth. 

Then I had a center party. I made cute little chicks. Only one was edible and one was a robot.

 I made a bunny mask.

We made a story. Two bunnies wanted to get out a carrot. They said oh that's a nice carrots. They wanted to pull it out. So the first bunny started pulling. Then the second bunny was pulling. Then POP! came out the carrot. It was reallly big. The End. 

I made a butterfly. It was really pretty. 

I did a spelling test. Most of it was wrong. 

I made an easter bunny. It was connect the dots by 5 to 100. 

I wrote about elephants seals. Elephant seals are big. Males has funny nose. Females are small. Each mommy has one baby. The babies grow fast.

I did a play about how to train a dragon. Then I had recess and did my journal. I came home, drew on the back of my papers. 

I finished my reading in March

I had lunch, did my journal.

Maleficent

So when I woke, it was 5ish. And it was almost 6:00. I decided to read to The Cat, and other true facts. 

Then my mom told me it was time to get dressed. My brother, WJ, was shouting to CJ, "Wake up!"

After that, I had breakfast. I had Malt O Meal with chocolate chips and brown sugar. I had a glass of grapefruit juice. 

I went to school. My friends did April Fool's tricks on me. Some of them said "Teacher is coming!", "Look, I'm a frog!" "Oh, look I've got a flower" "April Fool's!"

I went to the Sleeping Beauty show. I thought my friend Jeffery's brother, Gared, did a wonderful job of acting the prince. 

I did times like 1:00, 2:00. etc. . . I did wonderfully. Then I went to lunch. I finished my lunch really quick, so I was the first done and the first to do inside recess. I played chess and I won. 

After lunch, we went to music. We watched a sing along song, while we were finishing our shakers. 

We went back to class and we did an April Fool's paper. 

Then I went home. It was nice outside. After I did my homework, I played with my brother WJ. I'm going to clean the windows.

A snowy blizzary day

I was late for the bus. My mom drove me to school. I was late for school.

I learned about Sleeping Beauty. The third grade did a play about Sleeping Beauty. Kai was Prince Phillip. Camilla was one of the fairy godmothers. Cheyenne was another fairy. And Sydney was the green one. I was the King. Malicifent was Shayanne with an S. 

I learned about plants. They need water. If weeds grow next to them then they die. That's something Satan likes.

I made an April chart. I had a snack, it was marshmallow creme puffs. I went out to recess. I played Sleeping Beauty.

I came in and got my take home stuff. Then I rode the bus home to the bus stop. I came all the way home walking in the snow!

I read a book called Baseball.  I had lunch, did my homework, and my journal.

I hate you, Pencil!

So when I woke up, I woke up at 2:00. And then I woke up at the right time. Right when daddy came in. After breakfast, I went to school. At school, I did my journal. What part do you like about school? I wrote that I think that I love school.  Basically, I like the auctions. Where we get to buy stuff. They happen once a month, not once a week.

And after that, I went to recess. I did nothing.

Then I went in and I did the auction in class at my teachers's table.

Once I ate all my food, and went outside everyone started chasing me. Because they had thought that I had hidden the lunch basket. I said "Look, there's the lunch basket". They said something crazy, they said, "Oh it was Kai who took it". I knew I had to run as soon as I could.

Then we went to music. I made my musical instruments: shakers.

When I went home I used my squirt gun that I got from the auction. Then I went home.

Busy Bees

I had an inside recess. I played Old McDonald, I mean Star Wars.

We read books. Then we did centers. We did a color page of a bunny.

At centers, I had busy bees. It's where you have to be so quiet you are silent. And if you are so silent you get a busy bee. I got four, the others got one.

Then I finished the eggs.

I made an actual robot. It was R2D2, C3PO, General Greivous, the nice one, and Boba Fete, no Jango fete, the  nice one. I made them nice. General Grevious has 1000 arms.

I watched Good Night Gorilla.

I did symmetry. It's where you have half of something and you have to draw the other half and pretend there is a line in the middle.

I got a yellow slip. I came home. My daddy picked me up from the bus. He had his umbrella. Then I had lunch. Then I did my home work and my journal. I'm going to clean the light fixtures.

Mario and Luigi and Princess, had to defeat Bowser's green stinky castle. They jumped on Bowser two times, then we had to go to New Super Marios Bros. Weee hee hee, I mean,  Super Mario Bros. Galaxy.

The Place of Death

So when I woke up, I thought I had woke up at the right time, but it was really 2:02am. So I killed myself crazy and went back to sleep. I woke up at the right time when mommy woke me up. I got dressed and then had breakfast. Then I went to school.

At school, we did journals. Then I ate lunch and played these crazy games. After lunch I went to music. Then I went home and had a snack, did homework, and wrote a blog. The end.

Easter Bunny Comes Hopping Along

I woke up and went to school. We had first recess, then came in and learned about the letter "S."

Then I did centers. 

We had more recess, then I came home and had lunch. Then I did homework and journal.

Little Bunny Foo Foo

It was a nice day. I had oatmeal for breakfast. I went to school.

I learned about dragons. Dragons cane breathe fire. They are all kinds of colors, and they are stronger than a T-rex.

In centers: I don't know what I did. I don't want to tell you.

I made an egg, and it was starting to crack.

Then I had PE. I played soccer. I came home. Had a hot dog, and did my journal.

I did my creature the other day.

My creatures name is Yoshi

Where does your creature live? My creatures lives in a bush with Mario and Luigi

Cozette's Happy Birthday Party!

It was Cozette's birthday party today. I did a pinata. It was in the shape of a horsey. It's name was Chocolate. I broke it open. They taped the foot back together. Because they wanted it to still be alive. They made it look like it was real. When I broke it open candy come out.

I played "tail the horse".  Then we made horses out of batting, socks, and PVC pipe. I named him Chocolate.

We had a farm cake and ice cream. The ice cream was yellow and black. So you could choose morning or night.  Cozetted open her presents. I gave her a real pony brush, a card, and 2 horses. She liked it.

Oreo Milkshake

This morning I woke up at 5:00.  Then I just waited around clumsy. Then surprisingly. Liam popped in. I don't know how but he said Pop goes the weasel. He cuddled with me and said Nap, Nap, Nap!

Unfortunately, Liam was tickling me too hard which was driving me crazy, so I lost TV time.

I went downstairs and I got breakfast after everyone else, except for my brother. Because we didn't put away our buckets.

Then I went out to lunch with Daddy to Denny's. I got a pancake. I ate almost all of it. I left a quarter of it. I drank two full glasses of Cherry Limeade.

After that, I went to my performance. The old people loved us. =] I brainstormed by watching a movie, Lilo & Stitch. I brainstormed that I could catch a whole entire house with a net.

Then I went to Hogi Yogi. I got an Oreo milkshake. Then we went home.

Career Day

Today's show and tell was to dress up in what you want to be when you grow up.

Kayla was a rock star, that was gonna look pretty.

Shayanne was gonna be the guitar.

Coby was gonna be the bass, that sings

Dylan is gonna be in Shayanne band. He's gonna be the drums.

Christopher dressed up as Wolverine. Aaron dressed up as GI Joe Jumper.

When I grow up I'm gonna be a Myth Buster like Adam Savage.

In centers:

I learned about leprechauns. They get into mischief. and they clean their mischief up. 

We learned about police men. They help you find you home. And they arrest people and hand cuff them. 

I did a dot to dot and it was a bus. My bus driver's name is Shaun. 

I took my spelling test. It was really good. 

It was snowy when I came home from school.
